On the other hand, the lack of grand, historic and picturesque architectural edifices in our little state with a total population of a mere 2 million has been somewhat disappointing. With the 'lockdown', extended & planned photo safaris which I am so passionate about have had to be curtailed, and with all the National and State Parks being largely closed until just recently, there hasn't been a lot of nature & landscape photography available either, consequently, I have decided to embark on a fairly steep learning curve to discover what the immediate area within comfortable day-trip range has to offer, photography subject-wise.
