leica dream Posted June 5, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 5, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am not a daily viewer of the forum but when I do my interest is more in the photo forum and Leica C images threads. I also browse the digital and post processing threads occasionally. Is there a setting I can use to identify "new since last access" threads? The "Unread content" tab lists some discussions but is not specific.

Exodies Posted June 11, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 11, 2020 Look at the Activity tab, my activity, create a custom activity. I have one to show new posts in forums I follow.
ianman Posted June 11, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 11, 2020 Isn't that what the "Go to first unread post" is for? Displayed in front of the thread title as a dot if you have not posted in the related thread and as a star if you have. Also the thread title is in bold if new posts have been added to the thread. Yes, that works for each thread, but Exodies method, which I use, gives you a list of all the threads in forums you have an interest in that have new posts. Just different ways of dealing with the issue.
ianman Posted June 11, 2020 Share #5 Posted June 11, 2020 I'm sure it is, but I've never figured out how to make it work. How can I ask it to show me for example only sections from the M forum, and the "Film forum"? As far as I can see it can't filter on those.
LocalHero1953 Posted June 11, 2020 Share #6 Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) I've had to go back and check how I've set it up. It's actually not a list of unread posts or threads, but a list of the latest threads with posts, but only for those forums and subforums I've selected. I created a new activity stream: under 'Show me' I selected 'Content only'; under 'Content types' I selected 'Topics'. That shows an arrow for a drop box where you can select the forums/subforums of interest. Edited June 11, 2020 by LocalHero1953
ianman Posted June 11, 2020 Share #7 Posted June 11, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ahhh, I see it now... that was well hidden. That's what I needed,.... but it's not working. Maybe I set something up badly but having selected just the M Lenses subforum as a test, I am now getting posts from the CL forum, some German forums, Nature&Wildlife, etc. Back to the drawing board...
