Can someone help me. I had sectors going bad on my hard drive and yes I was able to backup all my data. I bought a new main hard drive, reinstalled XP and all my programs including Photoshop CS. Then last night I tried to open a RAW file and found I no longer had the ability to do so. I remember for when I installed it the first time I had to do something to make it RAW file capable.

Can anyone remind me of what to do? Do I download something from the Adobe web site or is what I need on the CD? Any help on this procedure would be much appreciated. I need to be able to open D2 and DMR raw files.

John,

You do need to go to the Adobe site to the download section. Make sure you get the correct download. You will need the latest that includes your camera name.

Don't forget their instructions so you can put the correct add-in file in the correct, stupid location. This stuff is enuf to drive a photographer mad.
