Has anyone found a European source for this...?   with vat etc and duty and shipping....it is $350 to the UK which is almost the same again in taxes over its cost !

I found one at Ebay for my a6500 for 80 Euro. Still a large sum for perhaps a 3d printer product.

Since the cost is just silly for the limited time I’ll use it, I’ll buy a decent quality Universal L plate instead....As I use  a FLM Ballhead and a Novoflex Tripod, these two German makes must have something decent and solid that won’t bugger up the camera

You want it because of the grip or because te quick release?

The RRS grip is awesome designed as you can access card and battery without unscrewing the grip as on th Leica model i have.
Backdraw is that you can't use the finger loop what i consider a very neat safety feature for my use.

just the arca attatchment, I dont like grips, thumb thingy and a decent strap are my go-to for off tripod 

I've found a generic one which should do the trick for a reasonable cost  so when it arrives , I'll let the forum know
