Stan K Posted May 17, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) On my X1 the belt and eyelet came off one side of my camera, can anyone suggest how I can screw these together. The bolts are in the camera sticking out, these have to be screwed into the eyeylet. Does anyone have a plan how I can reattached the bolts to the eyelet?? Advertisement Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Hi Stan K, Take a look here Leica X1 - Eyelets. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lykaman Posted May 17, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 17, 2020 I would imagine a camera repair shop, where are you located? L
jaapv Posted May 18, 2020 Share #3 Posted May 18, 2020 The "bolts" are probably the threads of screws from the inside. You'll have to open up the camera.
Stan K Posted May 18, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted May 18, 2020 Calgary, Canada I was hoping to do it myself. I phoned Leica LA on Friday and they suggested Leica N J
Stan K Posted May 18, 2020 Author Share #5 Posted May 18, 2020 Thank you Jaapv for your reply, I would gladly open the camera if I had a service manual for the X1, Right now I am not sure of the procedure and do not want to screw up this beautiful piece of equipment. This is my first true Leica. I bought this a few months ago used, being retired, money is scarce, otherwise I would have sent it to Leica
