Paul Hart Posted August 12, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 12, 2007 Magnificent. Thanks to my very kind-hearted wife, I had the pleasure of driving a selection of Jaguars of that vintage on a race track, including an E-Type and a D-Type. They are as lovely to drive as to look at. abrewer Posted August 12, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 12, 2007 this was the golden age of automobilesof course they were a bit less reliable and did not park themselves Those words were exactly my thoughts yesterday or the day before as I was driving somewhere. The Porsche's of this era, and the great British cars, and Ferrari, Maserati...we'll probably never see anything in the aggregate that ever comes close to the designed-in beauty of this generation of cars. Thanks. Allan
stuny Posted August 13, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2007 Andy - Delgithful, and as indicated above, with that vintage Jag you needed several so there'd be a good change one of them would run. BTW: Did the owner add the cat?
