Schittra Posted April 15, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted April 15, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Sorry if this topic causes you bored again. I tried to search but couldn't find what I am looking for. I'd like to get the camera bag that fit "SL+24-90" and "M10 with 50/1.4 (or One Leica Q)". I have Wotancraft Tropper M, Wotancraft Tropper S, Billingham Hadley Small, and Prvke 21. Prvke 21 seems to be ok but that's the backpack. I am looking for the messenger style or shoulder bag. Wotancraft Tropper M is tight fit. I can put SL+90/2 (M) and M10+50/1.4 in Tropper M. But I can barely fit with 24-90 I am looking at the Hadley Pro or Hadley One. Many posts talk about Peak Design - but it's too modern for me. Just moved from M system. All those bags fit nicely with M system but not this big brother SL. Thank you very much for your input and suggestion.

Photoworks Posted April 15, 2020 Share #3  Posted April 15, 2020 I have Hadley Pro 2020 and Hadley One. the Hadley One is my pick in most cases. it is has less bulk from padding, but enough to protect your camera and still light. the One has more room and can be customize on the inserts for more protection. You can add laptop, I use this pocket  for reflector. Welcome, dear visitor! Quite nice but look too classy and pricey. I am thinking about Billingham Hadley Pro. Will it fit?

Will it fit two cameras? it will be tight , the camera has to be on top and it will stretch out the inner padding  a little. the camera is 11cm Internal Dimensions (Main compartment): W340mm (13⅜") x D80mm (3⅛") x H210mm (8¼") Please note this insert is flexible - especially front to back. It's one of the best things about the bag! Therefore it can fit items slightly larger than the dimensions suggest - inside it could comfortably bow out to a 'D' measurement of 100mm (3⅞") at the bottom and 120mm (4¾") at the top (at the centre), at a stretch it can go out to 160mm (6⅜").
jcatral14 Posted April 15, 2020 Share #8 Â Posted April 15, 2020 I have almost the same requirements. I have SL+SL50Lux and M240 with M50Cron. I thought the Hadley One was too big so I went with Hadley Pro. I think it will be okay. Billingham had a spring sale but it ended 2 days ago. You missed it. I'll post a pic when I get my bag next week. I think if you want to be safe and sure, the Hadley One is the best option. Good luck!
Schittra Posted April 15, 2020 Author Share #9  Posted April 15, 2020 I just tried to fit SL+24-90 and M10+Lux50 in my Wotancraft Trooper Medium. They are fine. Pointing SL down and out M10 in another compartment. I can Wrapped Lux35 or Cron90 under M10 too. Problems with Worancraft bag are 1. a noisy bag with many mental parts 2. Slightly heavy (400 grams vs Hadley Pro and 120 grams vs Hadley One) 3. The cover is not adjustable. SL with 24-90 point down is a little snug 4. the top belt loop for tripod look ugly and noisy  I like almost everything that Trooper. If Trooper has the option without belt loop, that will be a really great bag.

I check the dimensions. SL with 24-90 is 230mm, perfect fit Hadley One. Hadley Pro height is 210mm. 20 mm is kinda different though.

Hadley One no problem
Jon Warwick Posted April 15, 2020 Share #12  Posted April 15, 2020 Slightly off topic, but I’ve found for just the SL2 and a lens, my existing Billingham for Leica M bag is a near-perfect (albeit tight) fit for the SL2 when it’s put into the bag on its side. Very very compact bag, and nice to use the existing Billingham that I’d used for years with my M set-up.

Got my Hadley Pro today in Burgundy 🙂 My SL with SL50/1.4 and M246 with 50Cron fits great and probably still some room for an extra M lens. I'm glad I went with this size, perfect! Schittra Posted April 21, 2020 Author Share #16  Posted April 21, 2020 I tried to fit SL with 24-90 and M10 with 35/1.4 (can be good for 50/1.4 too) with Wotancraft Trooper M. It's a little bit tight but adjustable. I compare outside view of Wotancraft to Hadley One at the store. The hadley one look too bulky for me. So I didn't bring the Hadley One backhome. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! This is very helpful and meaningful. One picture can tell thousand words. The hadley pro has some more room - not as tight as my Wotancraft Trooper. The Hadley Pro is not so bulky too. The exterior is nearly similar to Wotancraft. What I like about Billingham is the fabric is much softer than Wotancraft. Billingham is also lighter and less noisy (not much metal part). I see the size is not much different (50/1.4 is 14 mm shorter). Thank you so much for sharing.
