Actually, I have a Paul C Buff Vagabond power pack that I use for strobes in the field and thought about using it for this exact purpose.  Plug the factory charger into the Vagabond.  I'd have to research whether the mfgr of the power pack would consider that an acceptable use first.

Except that it's a lot heaver than a bunch of spare batteries and less convent than the car charger.

Still, I can envision occasions where it might be useful.

Nitecore has chargers that are powered off USB.

Josh at Leicastoremiami has review them

I have not ordered one yet, but if you match it with most any USB battery pack, I would think it would do the job for you without using a larger batter pack that does 120 Volts.

Thank you. In the meantime I did some research and found this article: https://www.nylon.com.sg/2019/02/my-leica-m10-p-setup-hacks-and-troubleshooting-the-fotos-app/

It suggests basically to buy the Nitecore and combine it with a power bank.

Where I am not sure now is: what kind of power bank to buy? What characteristics should it have?

Thank you.
