Viewfinder LED issue.

Hope you all are coping well with the corona virus. 

I was playing around with my M10-P this evening and found out that there is a problem with LED indicator in the viewfinder. As you can see in the photos attached ISO value in red is not fully shown. Weird thing is that only certain ISO values such as 400, 1600 and AUTO are affected. Other values like 3200 or 100 is shown clearly. I did try a few things such as resetting the camera and taking out the battery but nothing worked. The firmware is up to date (2.7.5.0).

Do you think the body should be sent for a repair? Or anyone had the same issue?

My best WAG is that the board driving the LED is about to go Tango Uniform..

If you're in warranty I think I'd have this looked at in case it might get worse.

Man that sucks.  Pretty annoying thing to have to send the camera in for.  One thing worth trying is maybe take the battery out and leave it out for say 24 hours.

I had this happen to my M9 - required a trip to mother ship and >$500 repair 😩 then the sensor corroded so I dumped it for an M10 which so far is working

Thanks all for the advice. I have just sent an email to Leica Mayfair. I really did not want to send the body in to Wetzlar as I know it would take a long time under the current circumstances but I guess it must go.

It is not an essential thing, just the little display missing a few segments. If I were you I would report the issue and wait with the repair until things have settled down.
