Advertisement Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Hi PhotoCruiser, Take a look here Question about Q/Q2 Summilux lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Michael Jeary Posted July 5, 2024 Share #22 Posted July 5, 2024 I seem to be getting a lack of definition on my Q2 Summilux lens (as compared to a fuji. Anyone else had this or is it just me. Also transferring images by bluetooth seems to degrade quality and takes an age. Comments would be appreciated.

Are your images worse than those posted in the Q2 image thread? Are you transferring images to the FOTOS app and are they jpeg or DNG? I’ve never experienced any degradation but I’ve only transferred jpegs and only to the app.
Le Chef Posted July 6, 2024 Share #24 Posted July 6, 2024 I would try a test: transfer via BT vs card in computer. If the same shot shows degradation both perception and in the data, I know what would do.

BTW, has anyone checked the price of the Summilux-M 28 f1.4 ASPH recently? It's about $7300 at B&H, camera body not included. those 28mm f 1.4 lenses aren't nearly the same as the 28mm f1.7 on the Q2, and aren't really comparable-they will automatically be much more expensive by design and so a false dichotomy. I have/enjoy a Q2 and not because it has the same lens as an M f/1.4 28mm which it doesn't. cheers
