I have 3/4 battery life and cannot burst shoot with the camera.  Is anyone able to burst shoot or is this a bug?  Just gives error message about low battery and no 4K.
Leica rides pretty high on their horse, and I think it’s shameful to release a product that doesn’t work anywhere near it’s specs. If I wanted that nonsense, I could keep using my Hasselblad...

Leica has a habit of releasing cameras that do not work equally well with all brands and speeds of SD cards.  I haven’t had problems shooting on faster drive speeds even with a mostly empty battery.  I haven’t tried 4K much, though—just enough to see if it works with my card even at one of the 100mbps settings.  The card quickly got warm, but I got no error messages and it all appeared to work fine.

What card are you using?  Of course, it should work with any card that’s fast enough, but sometimes things aren’t as they should be.  Did it work when your battery was full?  And only stopped when you dropped a bar?

Also, what lens were you using?  I know there have been issues with the SL2 and some of the Panasonic lenses warning about high battery drain.

I mentioned Panasonic lenses... Perhaps my memory was faulty?  I just saw a thread recommending firmware be updated to the latest on Sigma lenses in order to improve communications between camera bodies and lenses on battery strength.  Were you per chance using a Sigma lens?

For me burst shooting works. But I had another problem with a (SanDisk) SDcard, it suddenly “disappeared” and the camera said card full. It was a 128gb card, so could not be true. I took out the card and reinserted it, and then it worked again. (First it did not stay in, so needed another try.) So it looks as if there are sometimes (temporary ?) problems with the card slot.
