brickftl Posted March 16, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Since upgrading the Q2 firmware, my Function button only shows one setting - ISO even though when I configure the function button under Customize Control on Menu Page 4 it shows that I've got several things enabled for the function button. What am I doing wrong?

Ranchhand Posted March 16, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 16, 2020 If I understand correctly, if you “hold” the function button down, ALL of the items which you have assigned to it will be shown. If you push and release the function button, it will only show the last item used. If you hold the function button, you can scroll through all of the items assigned. I hope this helps you. bullmoon Posted March 17, 2020 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2020 That's not a firmware change - always had to hold the function button down to access the various assignments - been like that since it came out. And actually the new main menu page from the update mitigates the need for a good bit of that for me.

Bokeh Street Posted April 22, 2020 Share #6 Posted April 22, 2020 I have 'Self-Timer' assigned to my FN button, but when I hold down to initiate, nothing happens? In the general menu, self-timer is grayed out for some reason?
Leica Guy Posted April 22, 2020 Share #7 Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) The self-timer does not work in Continuous or Interval Drive Mode. Are you in one of those? Edited April 22, 2020 by Leica Guy

LeicaNew Posted May 28, 2021 Share #9 Posted May 28, 2021 Hi, I have a similar issue with the Fn button in firmware 3.1 on a Q2. Try to set it up to user profile by holding on the Fn button and going down the item list till user profile is selected (I have 2 profiles saved). Get out of the menu and take a picture with the profile selected ... everything is fine. But when i press the Fn button briefly to change the user profile I get self-timer instead. If I turn off self timer from the menu/page 3/ Customize Control/FN Button, it does not show up of course in the list of items in FN button, but nonetheless it will default to the self-time setting (and turn the self-timer On again) when i reset the FN button to "User Profile" May be confusing... but very annoying and disappointing for someone new to Leica and who likes to switch from color to B&W quite frequently. The leica store I consulted had no clue on this issue hope to hearing from wise guys
