Now, when I import the files, Lightroom already does the crop automatically. But Capture One doesnt, which would interest me more. Does anyone know why or have a solution? MediaFotografie Posted March 6, 2020 Share #5  Posted March 6, 2020 Booth SLs (and I think other Leica‘s too) don‘t really crop- they only add meta information about aspect ratio to the DNG - which is a very good solution to speed up the workflow (Nikon on the other hand save croped RAWs, which are smaller). I think C1 doesn‘t handle these metadata - but I haven‘t experience with C1 (maybe there‘s a hidden setting?) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We all use C1 since 10 years but had never the need for crop in C1. Happens all later in PS. I suggest to write to PhaseOne.
