LeicaR10 Posted March 20, 2020 Share #21 Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) John Black, Your assessment is spot on. I found nearly the same results when I tested my previous M246 to the M10M. My corporate clients and private collectors really like the results from the M10M even more so. Last, your website: www.pebbleplace.com has very good assessments as well. Stay well and keep creating. r/ Mark Edited March 20, 2020 by LeicaR10
Advertisement Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Hi LeicaR10, Take a look here M 246 vs. M10 M?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bayernfan Posted March 20, 2020 Share #22 Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) 48 minutes ago, John Black said: If money is a non-issue, I vote for the M10M. If somebody wasn't sure about Monochrom and just wanted to test the waters, the M-246 is a much easier pill to swallow. I'm not going to say anything bad about the M-246. I used it for years and took 1000s of images with it. Learned so much with it. Still learning. I love my M10M - which is good because we probably won't see a M11M until 2024 or 2025 John, I see you are also a North-Texan. Many of the locations on your website look familiar to me. I was shooting in Whitewright a few days ago! Perhaps we could get together in the near future, discuss small towns and cameras. -Alex Edited March 20, 2020 by bayernfan
bayernfan Posted March 21, 2020 Share #23 Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Well, I charged the battery, mounted a lens, went into the backyard to take a few shots. Came back inside only to realize the lens release button had fallen off... nowhere to be found. Can't say I'm particularly pleased about this. Waiting to hear back from the dealer. Anyone have experience in removing a lens without a lens release button? Edited March 21, 2020 by bayernfan
