Is the release of the S3 imminent?

Just got this from Clifton Cameras in the UK (I had paid a £5 deposit so I would get the latest information on it):-

"Good morning,

Today we have received an update from Leica regarding the retail price and sales start date of the S3. I can confirm with you that the retail price is £16,500 and sales start today, Friday 6th March.

Please let me know if you wish to proceed with the order and we will enquiry on the availability. Due to the retail value, we will require a larger deposit of 10%, or £1650, in order to secure this pre-order.

So, without V.A.T. I could get it for £13,750. Still out of my reach, unfortunately.

I am hoping that we will start to see reviews soon. Maybe today embargoes will be lifted and perhaps some of the usual suspects will come up with "first impressions" or 'hands on" or "real-world" reviews or whatever they are called. I thought it might be a good idea to have all the links to such internet wisdom about the new S3 all in one place, so I opened a separate thread for that.

That seems more like an emotional buy video and I could easily see the same video for the S007, there is nothing to tell me about the S3.  Even the weatherproofing is the same on the S007.

I'm sure more will come out, the delays probably cost Lecia and I'm sure more substantive videos will be released...

Well yes, that is likely! This thing was a quick teaser released on twitter, nothing more. By now (so over 24 hours later) youtube is certainly full of reviews.
