I'm so enjoying shooting with the M8 after an absence of about ten years.  I mostly do B&W work but the colors the M8 generate inspire me.  I get the Kodachrome feeling with the M8.  These were shot in my living room on one of those days when I didn't go out. - 50mm Summilux ASPH.

Welcome back to your own thread! Your initial photos were an inspiration for me to get an M8 a few years ago. Still a great camera.

Wonderful to know, thanks for sharing.  I will continue using the M8 as long as it has life in it, and I too remain among the living. 😇

High Voltage Field

*Two pictures, with a 'bouncing moon' between power poles!

Leica M8 & Voigtlander super wide-heliar 15mm f/4.5 (1/3 second handheld at 1250 ISO. Shooting at such a slow shutter speed without using a sturdy tripod is something I can only dream of doing with my M11 camera).

From the car, just trying to find out how this camera will work in the dark. Honestly, I am rather surprised…

getting back to my 2007 M8 (serial# 3107#);

has been sitting for a long time on the shelf;

... evaluating against my M11 versus it indeed offers something special in her output - will be putting same lens on the M8 and M11 and check what comes out ... (is there a CCD look)

this pic just as warm-up for my M8, charging batteries, formatting SD card and getting into the groove. Forgot the IR- cut filters (and dont have one for the 24mm/f2.8 I used here), one can see the purplish corners

frozen lake in our NJ township, quite beautiful...
