How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Much the same as me then. I’ve had my M8 for three months now and it’s been such a joy. In fact I’ve loved it so much I want to swap it now. For an M9M. Could be a slippery slope….

I agree, I think it is a slippery slope (financially) from here on in! 😂

I’ve had my M8 since June. After some early hiccups it’s working well and giving me lots of pleasure. I slowed down from the GR IIIX snapping and find it very rewarding.

I'm so enjoying shooting with the M8 after an absence of about ten years.  I mostly do B&W work but the colors the M8 generate inspire me.  I get the Kodachrome feeling with the M8.  These were shot in my living room on one of those days when I didn't go out. - 50mm Summilux ASPH.
