How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Just to keep this thread alive and nothing special. Would probably not look much different if taken with any smartphone but I still love the M8.

A newb here to the world of Leica and the forum. I've had some lovely replies and help in my first post and thought I should throw up a few images with the new to me M8. 

I've only managed to work through a handful of pages on this thread so far but I can see that these dinosaurs are still inspiring many folks to get out and shoot some incredible images. Really enjoying them all!

Thank you. New to M in general, always wanted one and managed to find an excellent example with 12k shutter count, 2 year warranty and it looks as good as new! 🙂

still getting used to focusing, but I think I'm getting there (its only been a day).
