I have had the anti reflective glass before and that’s not so good. The quality of the product from Whitewall is excellent and, apart from some original watercolours, all of the wall art in our home is my photographs through them. The fuji flex is the best and this photo deserves that. It is a silver halide paper that has mica crystals left behind after the washing that will make the print appear to illuminate from behind when exposed to strong light. The Crystal Archive won't be as brilliant.
Advertisement Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Hi A miller, Take a look here The cottage on the beach . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
NZDavid Posted January 10, 2020 Share #22 Posted January 10, 2020 The 2.8/24 Elmarit-ASPH is also one of my favorite lenses. Beautiful lighting and composition. Where is this, btw? I would assume the ephemeral nature of the light makes it unrepeatable!
andybarton Posted January 10, 2020 Author Share #23 Posted January 10, 2020 It’s on Islay in Scotland taken on Christmas Eve. The end of the short runway of the airport for the island is about half a mile behind me. I’ll know what the prints look like when they are delivered on Monday. I am sure that I will always look at them wishing I’d had them printed on different paper.

And there is a reason for that, Andy. This simply is one cracking enviable shot (it had escaped my attention so far)! I am sure the print will be just gorgeous. And I had the 18mm too, but that didn’t work for me. Shhhh!
