M8 and Macro?

Thanks. I have read the thread previously. I am looking for example photos. Particularly nature and floral.

rangefinders are not good for macros by themselves, but as has been pointed out, they can do quite well with a Viso and the bellows attachment works to greatly increase this combinations capabilities

I have posted many macros on the nature & wildlife forum here, but here are a couple that I did not put up yet

a small dragonfly (about 3 cm in length) captured with the 135 TE and the Viso/bellows

a close up using the 65 Elmar and the Viso without the bellows at near the limit for close up without a bellows or extension

I love the color/tonality rendition of the M8 as well as the details retained by it ...with the Viso/bellows combination the M8 becomes a very good macro camera ...the lenses for this are reasonbly priced & of excellent quality, though there are no tilt/shift lenses and sadly Leica no longer makes the Viso, so you will have to find a used one ...also using the Viso/M8 with flash takes a bit of legerdemain, but this can be done
