Leica TL 18mm F/2.8 Manual Focusing Noise??

I noticed that my new Leica 18mm F/2.8 TL lens makes a very slight rubbing/grinding noise when moving the manual focus ring from side to side. 

Is this normal? It is minor, but I don't notice it with my other TL lenses

I remember it being silent in AF and MF. 
I think that you should let Leica check it
