Jeff S Posted February 5 Share #21  Posted February 5 Advertisement (gone after registration) I use Epson, not Canon, printers, but I would never skimp on third party inks. Might as well buy Leica knock-offs and cheap papers. Photography, at a quality level, has inherent costs.  Of course, even with the best gear and materials, end results might be great, or might suck… the user is responsible one way or the other. Keep in mind that printer manufacturers make their profits off the inks, not the printers.  So why would they ever recommend third party inks?  Nonsense. Keith echoes these thoughts… On the other hand, this fellow apparently uses Signature Edition inks, at least occasionally, but still offers cautions..

Sharpdressed Posted February 21 Share #22  Posted February 21 I suggest buying here: https://www.farbenwerk.com/canon-pro-1000-eng  they are good quality inks equal to oem. I like buying paper from them too.
