PaulJS Posted October 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) FOTOS used to work great. I recently updated my iPhone X to 13.2. No it can see the camera but won’t connect. I’ve deleted the camera, re-installed FOTOS, etc. Anyone else having this issue?
Advertisement Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Hi PaulJS, Take a look here Trouble Pairing With FOTOS After Updating iPhone To iOS 13.2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Mogoforest Posted October 2, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 2, 2019 Do you mean 13.1.2? FOTOS still seems to be fine on my iPhone XR with iOS 13.1.2 When I say fine, I mean as fine as it was before the phone upgrade!
PaulJS Posted October 2, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted October 2, 2019 Yes, it worked fine under 13.1.1, won’t connect under 13.1.2. I’ve deleted and re-installed FOTOS and deleted the phone from the camera, neither helped. I called the Leica Store and they said I needed to turn off cellular data for FOTOS. I did. Then I tried to pair again and FOTOS told me I need to turn cellular data on.
RichardK Posted October 3, 2019 Share #4 Posted October 3, 2019 (edited) I had the same issue with iPad ios13... If the connection does not work, please proceed as follows: Delete the Leica Q in the Leica FOTOS and the Wi-Fi settings in your smartphone for your camera. 1. Delete the entry for your Leica Q in the Leica FOTOS and close the app. 2. Delete the Wi-Fi settings for the camera. Start the Wi-Fi function that you can see the QR code 3. Launch the Settings app at your smartphone 4. Tap Wi-Fi. 5. Tap the info button next to the wi-fi network you want to forget. It looks like a lower-case I. 6. Tap Forget This Network. 7. Tap Forget when prompted to confirm you want to forget the network. 8. Please restart your iPhone. 9. Connect your Leica Q again with Leica FOTOS. The above instructions came from Leica HQ Edited October 3, 2019 by RichardK
