Matsaly Posted September 24, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know if the recently introduced Match Technical lens cap will allow one to use the Peak design V4 anchors? My concern is the Q/Q2 eyelet may be too small to accommodate both the PD V4 Anchor and the MT lens cap clip. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Hi Matsaly, Take a look here Peak Design V4 anchors compatible with MatchTecnical lens cap?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted September 24, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2019 I thought one of the users indicated that the cap kind of snaps into place. If so, I wouldn't bother with the lanyard.
Trankster Posted September 24, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 24, 2019 (edited) I doubt it would fit the camera's eyelet. However there's no reason you couldn't attach it to the peak design cord or o-ring. If it were me I wouldn't bother with the lanyard at all and just put the cap in my back pocket or camera bag. It would bug me to have something dangling when taking photos. Edited September 24, 2019 by Trankster
Matsaly Posted September 24, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted September 24, 2019 I bought the Q2 for my wife. (I'm keeping the Q-P for myself) . I'm considering the MT cap for my wife as she likes the idea of the cap being on the lanyard.
