How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. Still learning layer and masks with Capture One. Pretty happy with this though. Used the SF-40 at 1/256set to 50mm coverage with VLUX-5 set at 50mm. No crop, but C1 background layers and some subject layer changes. Very happy with this camera.

Took my newly arrived V-Lux-5 out for a quick test at a local country park.  I bought it mainly for its 'reach' (25 - 400mm) in a reasonably lightweight body, one that I can carry around for an hour or so without too much in the way of after-effects.  Quite please with performance so far - but sooo many buttons!

Yes I would like less buttons but once set I don't need to change often. I also bought it for the reach in alight and not so big body. Not disappointed.

Andreas, somewhat late in the day I have joined the ranks of V-Lux 5 owners - it seems sparsely populated though!  Looking through the this thread (that you created) and your pages of images, one cannot help but be very impressed.  After just a couple of days of ownership and just one opportunity to carry out an outdoor test I am still exploring its capabilities but so far am quietly impressed.  No doubt there will be more uploads from as I continue to experiment & learn...
