Advertisement Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Hi jmahto, Take a look here All I need is M2, few lenses and Ektachrome. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ko.Fe. Posted September 10, 2019 Share #2  Posted September 10, 2019 Good for you. But I’m not this picky. Kodak Gold does the wander for me
ktmrider2 Posted September 10, 2019 Share #3 Â Posted September 10, 2019 For film, I agree about the M2 as the finder is outstanding if you can Iive with 35/50/90. Â Film is mostly HP5 and could live with only the 35 if push came to shove. Â Fuji got it right with the 35 FOV equivalent on the X100F.

I forgot to add that I have been shooting plenty of TriX as well. But that goes in IIIc. I find that better suited to casual shooting. It complements my color pictures.
ktmrider2 Posted September 16, 2019 Share #6 Â Posted September 16, 2019 It sucks that Kodachrome is not made anymore. Â I started with Kodachrome 25 and was impressed when the ISO went to 64. Â I have been editing slides from the early 1970's and Kodachrome still holds its colors but most of the E-6 films have faded. Â So if you want the colors to be good 40 years down the road, scan them.

I do scan all my new pics with BEOON and M240. Scanning all my old slides is long term project that I am slowly doing. I do miss Kodachrome too. Other than rich colors I was amazed by fine grain in high resolution scanning.

I have some Ektachrome slides that were taken in 1960 and have not faded at all, I suppose that a lot depends on storage conditions. I know they have not faded as some were published in a book not too long after I took them and there is no discernible difference. However, like you, I greatly miss Kodachrome.
