wattsy Posted September 9, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) I can't quite remember what turns when you press the middle in but isn't the centre part what you use to change the ISO setting? Presumably it is now stuck on DX which might be ok for what you need. Is this the same M7 that you have had problems with before and which was recently serviced by Leica? If you can stomach sending it back (and waiting) I would imagine Leica will replace it for you at their expense. Turning the dial is just as easy without the centre piece as with, and it works correctly. I always assumed that it was just one disk, but obviously not. As said Ian (Wattsy) , this part is used to turn the dial for DX or manual Isos choice . M7 with M-A and MP are the newest and the best for film photography !
