J_Brittenson Posted August 6, 2007 Share #125 Posted August 6, 2007 I think it's a good landscape camera, just got back from a trip to Australia where I used mine extensively for this. It has some drawbacks, but I think those are outweighed by the positives by a wide margin. (Perhaps the biggest drawback, since it's on the top of my head, is that at higher brightness levels the preview image shows highlights as blocked, contradicting the histogram.) Guest sirvine Posted August 7, 2007 Share #138 Posted August 7, 2007 Thanks, Daniel. It prints nicely on A3, too. I doubt the detail in the skyline would have survived even the most sophisticated AA filters.

johnbuckley Posted September 13, 2007 Share #140 Posted September 13, 2007 John's shots from Scotland are the best I've seen since the preview of the new Ansel Adams show at the Corcoran in Washington. Just lovely. The M8 plus WATE is a great landscape camera. This is from Grand Teton National Park in August: Welcome, dear visitor!
