Stonewall Brigade Posted August 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a question for Leica Q2 owners who also Use Capture One for RAW development. I know the Q and Q2 shoot DNG RAW files, and Capture One Pro is already updated to support the Q's DNG RAW files. My question is this - while Capture One Pro is currently not showing RAW support for the new Q2, can you nevertheless successfully process its' RAW DNG files with the same Generic ICC Profile? I e-mailed tech support to ask, but their response was that don't comment on future upgrades.

Stephen_C Posted August 21, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 21, 2019 I use Capture One 12 to process the DNG files from my Q2. I simply import those files into Capture One and process them and have been perfectly satisfied with the results. I've posted a few Q2 photos in the Leica Q2 image thread from time to time (perhaps this one is most representative of "normal" lighting). Maybe I should add that my monitor is colour calibrated. Michafoto Posted August 22, 2019 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2019 The more requests Phase One receives for an implementation of the Q2 profile, the faster they will add it. So can please everyone who wants it send them a formal request through their support function? Thanks
reynoldsyoung Posted August 22, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2019 Using Capture One to process Q2 RAW files with great results. If I was a good photographer, they would be even better!
