On center it's as sharp as the Summilux ASPH, but the lux is a bit sharper in the corners. It's a very big lens so it'll block a lot of the finder, but if you use it without lens hood I don't think it'll be a huge issue. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would estimate about 1/8 to 1/10 of the 35mm frame area using the petal hood, a little less if you use the screw in hood from the 50mm Nokton. Bob.
