I shoot a lot of photos and try and cull the bad ones or even the not as good ones. We did a month river cruise in April from Bucharest to Amsterdam. I took 6000 photos. Ultimately I culled it to 600. Mostly just fun documenting the trip, but a half dozen long term keepers. I worked on them each evening on the trip then finished once home. It works a lot better for me to not wait until I have to deal with the entire bunch at once. It does mean that I take 30-45 mins each evening to download to a laptop and do an initial filter for deleting and processing a few I like. It also serves as my immediate backup. I try and never delete photos from cards while traveling. Only after I’m home and multiple backups are complete.
