Ando a fazer os primeiros testes, e opticamente é suberba, hoje deparei-me com o seguinte problema, nesta foto o ceu começa a pixelizar no degradê, parece-me mau para uma maquina deste calibre e deste preço. alguma explicação? ___________ Good morning, I bought my first leica and of course, it had to be q2 for a series of conditions that M have for me. I'm doing the first tests, and optically is superb, today I came across the following problem, in this photo the sky begins to pixelate in the gradient, it seems to me bad for a machine of this caliber and this price. any explanation? Jared Posted July 24, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 24, 2019 That posterization is not at all with JPG’s, especially if there was any significant post processing. It’s due to the combination of 8-bit files (reducing flexibility of exposures in post) and lossy compression giving away subtle details in smooth areas. This could happen with any camera shooting JPG’s. There are two solutions. The first and better solution is to shoot in DNG format. But this won’t fix existing photos. The second solution is actually to add a little noise to the sky. Here is a good tutorial on how to fix it. https://fstoppers.com/post-production/learn-how-fix-color-banding-using-just-one-simple-tool-7946 By the way, this can appear as either variations in tone/brightness or as variations in hue/color. In the first case it is called posterization. In th second it is called color banding.
Leica Guy Posted July 24, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 24, 2019 We would benefit from a FAQ thread for the Q / Q2. This question has been asked many times as has the question about noise in the lens associated with Image Stabilization. Numerous other questions too. It would be a great place for new to Q people to first go.
