hector_jorge Posted July 24, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I try several times to install the last firmware 3.1. Every time the camera screen tells "No firmware on SD card found", but I´m sure that the firmware was correctly unloaded on the card (I drag it several times). The card was formated too, so I´m sure that it is empty and only contains the firmware. The previous firmware was installed without any problem. Any help, please? Advertisement Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Hi hector_jorge, Take a look here I can´t install the new firmware 3.1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Le Chef Posted July 24, 2019 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2019 Can you see the firmware on the card when you put the card into your computer or card reader? It should be visible as CL__31_.lfu
M.piras Posted July 24, 2019 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2019 You must copy it in the root directory of the sd card . No subdirectories neither change filename.

jc1 Posted July 24, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 24, 2019 Downloaded firmware file may be corrupted or checksum of the file is incorrect. Suggest you download the file again. 😍
Dave in Wales Posted July 24, 2019 Share #6 Posted July 24, 2019 (edited) Just follow the video, you can't go wrong. The CL is the 'easiest' camera to update that I have ever owned. Not that that helps you much sorry. I downloaded direct from the official Leica site, not the Red-dot forum. https://en.leica-camera.com/Corposite/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=135943&subcategory=&type=108942&language=68391 Edited July 24, 2019 by Dave in Wales

jaapv Posted July 24, 2019 Share #8 Posted July 24, 2019 Format the card in the camera too, then reinsert in the computer and drag and drop the file (unchanged, don't try to unzip or something) on the card icon.
