sanadsaad Posted July 21, 2019 Share #1  Posted July 21, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys. I am using the SL 24-90 on a Panasonic s1r for the last few months. Today, I started noticing a creaking noise when I change focal lengths. It's constant. Like a geiger counter ticking noise when I turn the go from 24 to 90. It's not there when I do the same thing with the camera off. It's not a loud noise but it is definitely noticeable. The lens is under a two year leica warranty. Is there any reason to be concerned?

Someone else have checked with Leica or Panasonic (stated on this forum somewhere....), and no reason for concern, apparently.
