This comment in the review really intrigued me, so I downloaded Capture 1 Pro to check it out. Overgaard says:

You see a 28mm crop (8368 x 5584 pixels) in Capture One Pro, but you also see more outside that 28mm frame. There is more space outside the frame, which you can include (9005 x 5715 pixels). Very helpful in the cases where you missed the top of a head or an elbow, because it might be there.

In Adobe Lightroom you see the cropped frame, but if you click on the photo with the cropping tool, you will see the entire 24mm frame with the 28mm crop.

So, in Capture 1 Pro, this is actually the case; there is information outside the 28mm perimeter. However, in Lightroom Classic, I am using the cropping tool but there is nothing outside the perimeter. I am using LR only and if I can make this work somehow in LR, it would be great (just for those instances where I make a mistake and cut something out) instead of having to use Capture1 Pro only for this feature.

Any ideas? Thanks!

It is not 24mm, only 26mm.

It was the same with original Q. But be aware of heavily distorted image and totally black corners (not vignetting, just black)

But if you need a 4:3 ; 1:1 or 16:9 images instead of original 3:2 why not
