Hello everyone,

i recently had an issue with my 240, there is a blue vertical line at left side of screen, sometime it is there, sometimes no.
Also, i can find the line from RAW files in some of pictures. I noticed quite few people have similar issues, even the M10 users, some of them got the mapping firmware from Leica

i have contacted Leica NJ, they asked me to send it in to for remapping, since i am in Canada, it will be easier for me just do by my self.

does anyone have a mapping firmware that can share with me?

thanks

this picture was shoot vertically, so the line is at the bottom.

Well, Leica can provide a firmware update for a remap but I don't think they do so for the M240. As the mapping data are camera-specific, it would be useless to use an update provided for another camera. In fact it would make things much worse. You have no choice but to send it in.

IMO, send it to Leica. Some things are ok to DIY, but not an M240. Mess it up and you'll have a very expensive paperweight.

yea, i found out they only send the firmware to M10, NOT for M240. I just sent the camera to NJ this morning.
