It seems a shame as I thought they where working with Adobe. The upshot is you cannot use the metadata browser in Lightroom on "lense". One complication would be if you have several lenses all with the same focal length from different manufacturers, all coded as the same lens. This wouldn't give you much more useful information than just the focal length. But somehow I doubt this entered Leica's reasoning! Therefore there is no feedback on the F-stop setting. The only information that could conceivably be included in the Exif data is what is available through the coding. But for me it would also be useful if at least it would be possible to edit the Exif-File in lightroom, so I can add the lens data manually.
