Pirellipete Posted June 18, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi, new here so sorry if this has been covered already but I can’t see anything in the thread titles. Can I use a yongnuo type flash trigger to fire off “off camera” slave flashes ? Or if anyone has done this with another brand of trigger please let me know thanks, pirellipete, UK
Advertisement Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Hi Pirellipete, Take a look here Yongnuo flash triggers and slave flash ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Michael Hiles Posted June 18, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2019 Yes. I have a pair of these Yongnuo triggers, which I use with an M2 and M3. The one at the camera sits on an adapter that links the trigger to a cable the plugs into the camera’s flash socket. This replaces the non-existent hotshoe. The other trigger drives an ancient Vivitar 283. It works well. I have also just acquired a Gossen Digiflash which I have not yet tried as a flash meter – but I am expecting very good things.
