Advertisement Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Hi bejersey, Take a look here TYP 102 X-E. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
DwF Posted June 15, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 15, 2019 Rick, I saw your post on the other more generic forum but didn't respond there. It sounds like you know what you are getting into and given what wonderful pictures the X cameras are capable of, the quirks are easy to endure! You mentioned you'd had an X 113, and while I absolutely loved my X1, I decided to look to the X 113 myself when time came to look at another X. I've been able to make nice enlargements with that camera although I am using my XV more; it's newer to me, and first camera where I've really enjoyed a zoom lens. I sold the X1 because I was afraid that eventually the flash would break. That of course will not be likely with an X-E. X-E is also a sharp looking camera- I was tempted. Enjoy your new camera and by all means post images here! If there isn't a category, posting to X2 seems appropriate. David
bejersey Posted September 6, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted September 6, 2019 (edited) Thank you David!! I actually sent it back because it was missing the battery latch..but just purchased from KEH.COM again as they fixed the issue plus Leica sent me that part as well. Great little camera. rjans Posted September 7, 2019 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2019 The X-E is identical to the X2. If you like the use the Leica EVF 2 viewfinder (18753) you may look for a second hand or also the Olympus VF-2 which sells for less.and has been available in black or silver version.
