Are you talking about the little wireless flash trigger setup from LightPix? I've tried it a couple of times on a Q along with with the SF26 and got mixed results. The problem with my setup is that the SF26 doesn't have manual controls. I think it would work well with a flash with manual controls.

I have the original version with the changeable battery. I find that the battery is often dead when I want to use it.

Has anyone managed to use studio flash with a Q2?

No problems with using triggers and getting the flash to work. And no problems allowing the camera to automatically use a very high ISO and to expose as if there to be no flash. But if I set the IS0 to 100, the shutter speed to 1/250th and then the aperture to say f8 or f11 - settings that I would often find myself using in a studio situation - simply left me with a dark viewfinder in which i was unable to either focus or compose.

Help and suggestions please.

Trying ISO 100, f/8, 1/125s, dark room on my Q.   The viewfinder is not dark until I half press the shutter. No problems for focusing or composing.   Oh... I'm using manual focus.  That makes a difference. My scene mode is set to P-A-S-M.

You have to go to the main menu and change exposure preview from P-A-S-M to P-A-S.
