Matsaly Posted May 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 21, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Since the Q2 availability topic discussion is rather lengthy it's difficult to figure how many persons have placed orders and how many have actually been fulfilled. I'd like to suggest that a forum user who is skilled with spreadsheets create a linkable spreadsheet where users can input certain data like: 1) Pre-order date 2) Fulfillment date 3) Name of store (or stores if multiple pre-orders) That way it would make it easier for other forum users to view the spreadsheet and get a sense of how many orders have been fulfilled. For example- a forum user could view the spreadsheet and see that X number of persons placed pre-orders on March Y and Z have been fulfilled. While imperfect it would at least give us a sense of where we stand in the queue.

LexS Posted May 22, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2019 What percentage of people interested in Q2 are in this forum?
lucerne Posted May 22, 2019 Share #3 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) Impossible fact to determine. Not all buyers register or visit this site, and Leica distribution is a worldwide affair with business in many non-German or English speaking countries. . We don’t even know where all the dealers are, and would they be willing to reveal their business data.. Waiting is a fact of life with new Leica releases. A spreadsheet like this could never be accurate for many reasons and I doubt that the Leica forum website would even allow an interactive spreadsheet to sit in its space. It’s a security risk. Maintaining accuracy of the spreadsheet would be very problematic. Matsaly, you need to be patient but also realistic. Soon, the Q2 will be history and replaced. Then their will be plenty on the secondhand market. I hope yours arrives soon and you can spend your time shooting and inventing improvements.
