Nothing to do with Leica at all. Meanwhile, the SL is still on the Leica website and available for purchase. I just saw this and you better believe I am going to call them today and find out. If you can take advantage of both I will be purchasing an SL and 50 Lux today. Since the resale value of the SL has fallen considerably (just dealer traded my 6 month old, still under warranty SL for $2800.) you might be able to get a good deal on one, like the SL I've just disposed of, that has been treated kindly. I'd delivered it to the Leica dealer repacked as if it were brand new, in all original packaging. It went to Leica Miami ... they might still have it. ron777 Posted May 5, 2019 Share #51 Posted May 5, 2019 (edited) Good decision. I'd disposed of my SL as part of a trade, along with a few M lenses, in exchange for new SL 16-35mm and SL 75mm lenses.
