Enbee Posted April 15, 2019 Share #1 Â Posted April 15, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a 10 stop variable filter for my 50mm summicron M lens. This filter comes in very handy during sunny days when I have shoot wide open. So far I haven't shot much on my SL so don't know if I will be needing one - so I thought I will check if anyone has any experience using the same? Â Thank You in advance! Advertisement Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Hi Enbee, Take a look here Variable ND Filter for SL 24-90 Lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
darylgo Posted April 15, 2019 Share #2  Posted April 15, 2019 (edited) The SL will go to 1/16,000 sec, at Iso 50  I find I don't need one unless I want the long shutter speeds for blurred water etc.  1/16,000 sec is an electronic shutter speed only, the top mechanical speed is 1/8000 sec and should be adequate also.  Edited April 15, 2019 by darylgo
