Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

i must say that after being completely blown away by her B&W photos and loving the first photo book that was published with her work, i was underwhelmed by the color photos in the newly released book.  

I have me been thinking about why this is:

1. Is it because the color photos were taken at a different point in time when she was less invested in capturing interesting moments?

2. is it because having color film loaded made her “see” differently?

3. is it because the B&W film photos tease out the form in her photos more, which the color photos distract from?

OR, is it #3 above combined with the digital dodging and burning that Maloof and his photo editors did of the B&W photos, which do such a great job of adding a touch of contrast to lead the eye through the image, etc...

4.  ?
