Guest Posted March 30, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi im wondering what all you lucky folks that already have the Q2 set your AF too? I have mine set at a single point............, focus on what I want in focus on then recompose and shoot, I basically do this out of habit but was wondering if I am missing anything that the new Q2 brings to the table that could be an advantage when shooting street kind of shots. Anyway i m just wondering what everyone else is using. Neil
Advertisement Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Hi Guest, Take a look here Single point AF or ?? On the Q2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
paul.bridges.3388 Posted March 30, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 30, 2019 Thats what I do. Coming from the SL (and Sony), I’m getting used to not tweaking fine focus off the AF. Have to say, it’s a little frustrating to be losing some control.
Matero Posted March 30, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 30, 2019 That's exactly what I do, comes as an reflex from muscle memory. Very rare occasions when this method is not working, I use still the single point but move it on the screen to right position. But this is so rare that it is difficult to member how to do it, when needed. YMMV
