Learner Posted March 28, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 28, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) In all likelihood I've got the wrong end of the stick, but I'm under the impression that regardless of the type of picture taken (dng, jpeg, dng+jpeg) or crop factor, the Q2 will create and store a 47 megapixel file. Much of the time, I'm happy with just jpegs ... I'm concerned that huge 47 megapixel files will overload my storage card, my computer, my patience, my brain. Have I failed to understand the way the Q2 works / stores data? Edited March 28, 2019 by Learner
Advertisement Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Hi Learner, Take a look here Every picture 47 megapixels ??? . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
M11 for me Posted March 28, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2019 Yes of course: The sensor HAS that many pixels. But when you crop plus use jpg only then there are less as you use just a portion of the sensor.
