Until yesterday the Level Gauge was working in Q (half a year old).

Settings (fw3.1): Menu 4->Photo Live View Setup,->Level Gauge->ON.

Whatever I do it disappeared. Setting On->Off->ON etc, nothing gets me back to having the level gauge.

Anyone who can help me with this?

Have you tried resetting the camera (from the menu)? If you have user profiles saved make sure you first save those to an SD card so that you can restore them after the reset.

I don't dare, because  it resets also the date and time (or as that changed in FW3.1?).

Yes - it resets everything back to factory defaults. However, it's not that much of a challenge to set the date and time again. 😀 Alternatively, go to your nearest Leica dealer and ask for some help.

Set the level and press the info or display button to show the level. It allows you to declutter the screen.

OK so I have set the level gauge to on. Now what is the Info or Display button? when I want to see the display before making a photo, I press the shutter halfway and expect to see the level gauge line.

@Stephen,

OK, I follow you recommendation: I reset, the numbers are not reset, time/date new set, you have first to create something as a changed (from default) menu, then save it on a different sd card, called user1, then could reload the earlier saved set (also called user1 in my case).

Then checked all settings, then saved the settings, then had the level line back, GREAT, thank you!
