I don't think it will take me long before I yield to the temptation and get an X typ 113 to join my X1. However, staring at the Lumix LX100 (the Leica D-Lux typ 109 sibling), I see how wrong the choice "internal flash unit / external viewfinder" is! It is the other way round in the Lumix/D-Lux.

I also use Leica's (external) OVF on the X1; expensive but quite bright. And, by the way, there are compact zoom cameras with in-camera OVF coupled to the zoom lens; for instance, some Nikon Coolpix models

The reason behind my original post is the usability of the highly informative EVF on the D-Lux/Lumix. Very pleasant for setting the camera and composing. But exactly what expected from a nearly 2.8-million-dot EVF.
