mitchell Posted July 21, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted July 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does Aperture or LR 1.1 support two displays like Photoshop? If not, do you think they will in the future? Â Thanks, Â Mitchell

nryn Posted July 21, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted July 21, 2007 Lightroom does not support dual displays, at least as of 1.0. I don't think this was one of the enhancements they made in 1.1.

mitchell Posted July 22, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted July 22, 2007 Thanks for your response. Â Anyone know if Lightroom will eventually support dual displays? Â I would think they would because Photoshop does. Â I've just downloaded the Aperture trial. So far I light LR more (maybe just because I know it better), but I like using my dual displays. EH21 Posted July 22, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted July 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I read somewhere that the lightroom team decided to use only one display deliberately. I can't imagine why. Lightroom is great but I hate it that I always have to switch around the screens to work.
mitchell Posted July 22, 2007 Author Share #8 Â Posted July 22, 2007 Eric, Â That is indeed bad news. It seems really odd because they got it right in Photoshop. I have two 20" Cinema Displays which is perfect for me, but I wish I had one 30" for Lightroom. Â This certainly nudges me towards Aperture.
