Advertisement Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hi Allan Tee, Take a look here NR on CL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LocalHero1953 Posted January 28, 2019 Share #2 Â Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) You can't! If you do a search on this forum, you'll quickly find out that this is a long-running gripe on all Leica cameras, a painful defect which Leica refuses to acknowledge. Given that Leica makes such a play of cutting things to the essentials, leaving the photographer in charge.......all I can say is that such statements would be more credible as anything but marketing-speak if they allowed us to disable LENR Â Edited January 28, 2019 by LocalHero1953
Allan Tee Posted January 28, 2019 Author Share #3  Posted January 28, 2019 Thanks. Good for me to know as a newbie. Any other feather peculiar to Leica besides this? Thanks again.
scott kirkpatrick Posted January 28, 2019 Share #4  Posted January 28, 2019 Some lenses reduce their widest aperture when the distance gets too close. Again Leica is doing that to satisfy their quality standards. This irritates some people, but I can live with it.

Thanks. Be thankful you have a CL and it's only an extra 30 seconds maximum. I regularly do 10 minute landscape exposures with an SL and have to wait the same again for LNER...... ...... which is why I always carry a CL and extra small tripod as well so I can get on with taking other photos whilst waiting ..... otherwise I would be gnawing a tripod leg with frustration. ramarren Posted January 29, 2019 Share #7  Posted January 29, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sheesh, such impatience! When i use the 66/6 Instant Pinhole camera with Polaroid Originals 600 film, the reciprocity factor with an f/167 aperture nets a 43x extension of the metered exposure time. I've had exposures take up to two and a half hours...😯 Of course I have another camera with me. I've left the pinhole working in the field for hours at a time while I ran off, got coffee, took some photos, and returned. And that was in late afternoon/early evening!
